I’m a huge necklace person. Having items on my wrist usually bugs me. But, I have many fun and intricate tops and dresses that just aren’t conducive to necklaces. So I decided to try and find a bracelet that I could love, that would go with many of my outfits.
I found this piece immediately at local Los Angeles jewelry boutique Ettika. Ettika was founded by Ettie Rafaeli and Joey Rafaeli to match with the sunny LA lifestyle. Whether you’re hitting the beach or clubbing the night away, there’s an LA-trendy piece for you.
Ettika carries a variety of types of jewelry, from bracelets to necklaces, chokers, rings, earrings and even body jewelry. Best of all, pieces are pretty affordable, rarely exceeding the $75 mark.
This month, Ettika released a new jewelry collection in collaboration with Nordstrom. Ettika designed the pieces, which are available exclusively at Nordstrom, Nordstrom.com and Ettika’s website.
I snapped up the °Celebutante bracelet in gold and cream. At just $30, this bracelet was a total steal. I love that there are so many facets to the piece: A gold chain, a cream/pink braided rope, a string of faux diamonds and fun tassels at the end. It’s definitely a unique piece that I don’t see all over Forever 21 shoppers? wrists. Also, the color scheme is pretty but subtle, meaning it will match with many of my existing outfits.
I received my Celebutante bracelet just a few days after ordering, which was awesome, because if there is one thing I am not, it is patient. ONLINE SHOPPING IS SO ROUGH.
The bracelet is beautiful in real life and looks expensive/high quality. And it does go with many of my outfits! It’s also perfect for summer, because it compliments the boho/hippie/music festival vibe so well.
However, this bracelet is TINY. I have pretty average-sized wrists. Some might even say I have pretty small wrists. And this bracelet fits only on the very last ring of the chain, and is very difficult to put on. It fits, but barely. So if your wrist is even a teensy bit bigger than mine, it will not fit you. I don’t see an option to choose size online, so buyer beware if you have average to large-sized wrists. Petite darlings, this piece is for you.
The Celebutante bracelet also comes in a million gazillion other colors: pink and orange, brass and cream, black, peach and beige, blue and lime, coral and cream, light blue and blue, orange and brown and so many more that I do not have time to list here. Basically, if you like this bracelet, you can have it in every color to match anything ever. I’m personally eyeing the black one – I love the stark contrast of the faux diamonds against the ebony black rope”.
