I received this House of Harlow 1960 bangle in one of my Rocksbox sets. I was instantly intrigued. I’m not much of a bracelet/bangle person – I prefer necklaces and rings – so I was excited to see how to work this piece into my wardrobe.
I love the design of this bangle. The piece is called the “Symbols and Signs Bangle” in silver, and that’s a fitting description for sure. The geometric shapes, from triangles to “X’s” and arrows, are funky. They’re reminiscent of a tribal design, yet the solid, hefty bangle itself is quite the opposite. It’s cold and modern. I love how these two styles are juxtaposed.
I also love how simple the piece is. There are no clasps involved. You simply slide the bangle on your wrist and you’re ready to go. I’m so tired of fighting with jewelry clasps on necklaces that are made for baby-sized hands, and with trying to tie on bracelets on yourself – it takes a wardrobe crew to accessorize these days!
If you love this bangle, you can purchase it for $68, or $54 if you’re a Rocksbox Insider!
