Turquoise has been trendy for quite some time now, but I’ve been hesitant to give in. It is a beautiful gemstone, but also very bright and bold. I always worried what clothing items I could possibly find that it would match with.
I love that the stones on this bracelet are imperfect. None are exactly the same, and some have marks, imperfections and discoloration. That’s what I think is so cool about turquoise. It’s natural, earthy and organic, not man-made.
To bring out the beautiful color, I decided to wear it with other shades of blue. To emphasize the triangle stones, as well as the gold of the band, I also wore these sparkly gold triangle sandals from Forever 21. Here are both these things contrasted against the crisp white of an Express skirt.
I also wore this bracelet with a solid blue t-shirt dress from H&M. Because there was so much blue going on already, I chose white braided sandals from Forever 21 to complete the look (plus the gold accent on the sandals helps tie it all in neatly).
My only complaint about this bracelet is that the clasp is NOT secure. The bracelet kept falling off and I lived in constant fear I would lose it. My suggestion is to either replace the clasp or to wait to purchase this bracelet until House of Harlow 1960 fixes the issue. After all, it is both pretty and expensive and losing it would suck!
