I recently became a Rocksbox ItGirl and I’m already hooked! In case you haven’t heard about Rocksbox, it’s a premium jewelry subscription company that has been sweeping the US this past month. Seriously, it’s all over Instagram.
Essentially, you pay $19/month for 3 pieces of designer jewelry that your stylist picks out just for you, based on a style profile you fill out and your Rocksbox wishlist. They’re shipped straight to your door, you try out the pieces, buy what you want and send back what you don’t want in the pre-paid envelope. Then you do it all over again!

In my very first Rocksbox set, my personal stylist killed it by sending me this Gorjana Isla ring and midi ring set. I LOVE midi rings, as I think they’re so funky but also really subtle. The design on these rings is also really neat. The curves are imperfect, reminding me of something that would be found in nature, not made by man.

The only problem is that I never wear gold jewelry – all my outfits revolve around silver jewelry! So to really try them out, I needed to get creative with my outfits.
First, I went simple. I spiced up a plain white button-down shirt from J. Crew, a pair of dark skinny jeans from Forever 21 and white ballet flats from H&M with the rings. You can see here how the rings are subtle (aka work appropriate) but also fun (letting my personal style show through).
Next, I went bold and designed an entire outfit around dainty gold jewelry. I was headed to lunch on an outdoor patio in the middle of Beverly Hills with a friend, and this sheer flowy high-low dress from Fashion Rush Clothing was perfect. The dress is feminine and delicate, so I matched my jewelry to that. The midi rings are the perfect compliment, as you can see in this photo! I also added a Sophie Harper dainty “V” necklace, also from Rocksbox, and together the two pieces completed this perfect summer day outfit.

The Gorjana ring set retails for $78 but if you’re a Rocksbox member you can buy it for just $62! Also, every month you receive a $10 “Shine Spend” credit to use towards purchasing a piece from your box, so technically you could own these rings for just $52. #DivaOnABudget for sure!

Disclosure: I received a complimentary three-month subscription to Rocksbox. However, all opinions on Rocksbox and the jewelry pieces in this story are my own.
