If you’re anything like me, your hair doesn’t magically air-dry to be perfect like all the hair models we see in magazines. If you need hot tools to MAKE yourself some magic, then your bathroom is probably a mess and looks like this:

Not only are hot tools and cords everywhere super-annoying, but it can also be dangerous. After all, sinks and electricity don’t exactly mix, and the more you step over or crunch the cords the more the wires can erode.

I found this nifty bathroom organization trick in Cosmopolitan Magazine and it takes zero effort.

Simply purchase a stand-up file organizer from Target or any office supply store. Wrap the cords (loosely) around each tool and then place them standing up in the file! And voila – you’re done. The sides keep the tools from falling out all over the place. You can also lean your tools against the sides if you don’t have enough tools to fill up the folder. Best yet, I purchased this metal file folder so that I can store my tools while they’re still hot (a paper folder would present a fire hazard!). It was only $3 in the handy-dandy addictive wallet-landmine dollar section at Target.
