You may have seen my post on creating hand-painted dot tumblers.
If the tumblers / stemless wine glass doesn’t appeal to you, these super-classy gold dot champagne flutes might be the perfect craft.
They’re fast, easy and fun to make!
All you need is:
-Champagne flutes
-Metallic gold (or silver) paint
-Paper plate
-Cotton swabs
-Parchment paper
-Baking sheet
Just like the dot tumblers, pour out your paint on the paper plate.
Dip a Q-tip in the paint and start making dots on the flute.
I did all my flutes differently, but one idea is to start with lots of dots at the bottom of the glass and disperse them moving up, similar to how the bubbles move in a champagne glass.
Once complete, let the glasses dry for an hour.
Place the flutes on the parchment paper on the baking sheet and place in a COLD oven (DO NOT PREHEAT).
Heat the oven to 350 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
Let the glasses cool for an hour before handling.
How would you paint your flutes? Like bubbles, or with a different design? Let me know in the comments!
I modified this craft idea from Lulus.
