My husband loves mango salsa, so rather than keep buying the processed jarred kind, I decided to make my own with fresh ingredients!
You can eat it with chips or add to nachos or a quesadilla for an added fruity flavor boost.
You’ll need:
- 3 medium ripe mangoes, peeled, pitted and diced
- 1/2 cup diced red onion
- 1/2 cup finely chopped cilantro
- Juice and zest of 2 limes
- 4 small garlic cloves, grated
- 1/2 jalapeño, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Chill until ready to serve.
