I really love wearing colors, but some days, wearing black sounds so appealing. Wearing black head-to-toe is not only a unique look (in LA, at least, if not in New York), but it is sleek and streamlined.

I started with this black sheer button-down tank top from Fashion Rush Clothing. Because the top is sheer, a black cami from Forever 21 was the necessary next step. I could easily pair this top with jeans and be done. But I thought streamlined black was the best idea for this particular day, so black yoga pants from Forever 21 it was!

Next, for the accessories. Black shoes and a black and gold necklace could work. So too could adding just a weeeeee bit of color…silver! This classic heart necklace from Tiffany’s is a great addition, and the silver studded flats from American Eagle compliment it perfectly.

I chose the simplest way to style this outfit, but there are so many other ways to do head-to-toe black. All black shoes and accessories, gold accessories, a pop of color like cobalt blue or royal purple, the possibilities are endless.
