In this pandemic, the safest place to be is outdoors. We have been quarantining with close family and friends who are also quarantining, and being extremely careful when they do venture out.

So, the social event du jour has been backyard BBQs. Delicious food, family and friends and some safe distance (and fresh air). It can’t get any better (except for a vaccine or treatment for the coronavirus, but that’s unlikely to happen anytime soon).

If you’re like me, you get SO excited to put actual real clothes on and venture out of the house. I’ve been saving my cute spring dresses for opportunities like small family BBQs.

A cute felt floppy hat not only adds some style, and some sun protection, but it also hides those covid roots! Once my salon reopened, I went back for a root touchup, but I’m definitely still trying to stretch my salon visits as far apart as possible.
