I fell in love with this oversize black sweater from Fashion Rush and had to get it! Then the problem became what to pair it with? It looked too silly with a miniskirt – why was I covered on top for winter but summer on the bottom? Dark jeans could work but it felt boring. Black liquid leather leggings with an oversize top seemed too 80s.

I decided to jazz up the plain black with bright blue pants! These awesome pants are also from Fashion Rush Clothing. I love the straight fit so much, and the vibrant colors, that I also bought them in red. I love the electric blue color, and the way the slim fit balances the oversize sweater.

Because the pants are so bright, I opted for more neutral shoes. These chain quilted ballet flats from Payless Shoesource are super comfortable, and very cute. The demure quilted pattern is cute, and the gold chain makes them fun.

Last but not least, I added a silver heart necklace from Tiffany’s. The classic necklace contrasts with the funky pants in a fun way.
