The moment I saw this black/floral zipper dress at Forever 21, I knew I just had to have it! The print is adorable, the cut is awesome and the coloring makes it work for several different seasons. I knew that I would be able to wear this dress to a number of different events, from brunches to work events to running errands.

The tank top fit is great because the top is wide enough to wear an actual bra (necessary for me!). The fitted waist and flared skirt is very feminine and figure-flattering. And I love the pockets! As a woman, finding clothes with pockets in them is so rare that you have to jump on them when you find them.

My favorite part of this dress is the zipper though. You can zip it up or down to different lengths depending on where you are going (down for nighttime, zipped high for work events). And I LOVE clothes with zippers – they’re such a fun accent.

I paired the dress with my favorite suede black wedges from Payless Shoesource. These shoes are my go-to for anything because they are so flattering and very comfortable. Last but not least is this classic heart necklace from Tiffany’s. This necklace goes with everything but looks especially cute with the florals in the dress and the silver zipper.
