Winter fashion is usually reminiscent of dark colors like black and gray, or rich jewel tones like maroon and royal blue. But why don’t we dress in lighter colors?

I suppose if you live in a snowy landscape, wearing white and beige would make you blend in with the snow. Here in LA, it’s just another color combo to work into your winter wardrobe!

This beige sweaterdress is from Forever 21. When winter clothes launched at the fast fashion store, they had a sale. I got this sweaterdress for cheap, in beige, red and green.

I paired the dress with this furry white vest from Cotton On. This faux-fur (animal-friendly) vest is one of the favorite things in my wardrobe. It’s just so fun, and it can take an ordinary outfit into the extraordinary.

I kept with the light neutrals and added these brown suede western ankle booties from Payless Shoesource.

What goes best with a nice warm beige and pretty soft brown? Gold, of course. This monogram “B” necklace is from Ettika, as is the gold”Sleep all day, party all night” bangle.
