Springtime is here, and there’s nothing better to celebrate the season, warm weather and cool breezes than a flirty floral skirt! I love this flippy and flowy skirt from Forever 21. It’s flirty and feminine, but not too girly. It’s high waisted and short, so figure flattering and young, but it’s not TOO short so I would feel comfortable accessorizing it with more classic/buttoned-up separates for work or a family meal.

Here are 2 ways to style this skirt!

For work:

I paired the skirt with a tucked-in classic scoop-neck white t-shirt from H&M. The soft cotton pairs well with the silky fabric of the skirt. White ballet flats, also from H&M, and a classic Tiffany’s heart necklace, complete the feminine and classic look. It’s suitable for so many occasions and very seasonal.

For play:

High-waisted skirts are the perfect accompaniment to crop tops. You don’t want to show too much abdomen, so a crop top with a high skirt shows just the right amount of skin. This white crop top is from Forever 21. To make this look more “brunch” than “beach casual” I added my favorite brown wedges from Target, and the classic Tiffany’s heart necklace.
