Sunday brunch with the girls is a great excuse to wear your cutest, girliest, most fashion-forward outfits. Many men are completely clueless when it comes to fashion and wouldn’t know if you are wearing the newest style or not if their lives depended on it (of course, there are some wonderful exceptions to this rule). But your girls? They are totally there to admire your look and make you feel super great and confident about yourself. Plus, you know your BFFs will be all decked out and ready for pictures too!
I love how feminine and spring-like this outfit is. After an unusually long cold spell here in LA (what other places call “winter”), I’m excited to break out the spring-appropriate outfits.
As any regular reader of my blog knows, I love crop tops, and I will take any excuse to wear them. I started with this white high-neck crop top from Forever 21, which boasts a super-flattering fit. The high-neck trend is my favorite trend to rock right now.
Next, I added this blue and white polka dot sheer high-low skirt from Fashion Rush. I’m fully aware that the high-low style is so 2015. But I still love rocking the look because it a) is so flattering – party in the front, business in the back – b) is so feminine and flirty and c) keeps your legs cool in the spring sunshine!
To match the girly aesthetic, I added this blue and silver Tiffany’s heart necklace and a silver double-band Tiffany’s ring. I kept footwear simple with silver and white sandals from Forever 21 – the best footwear for waiting for a table for brunch while standing and sipping (ok, chugging) bottomless mimosas.
