I love colors! As much as I love the classic and timeless look of black, you will find me in bright colors more often than you will find me wearing neutrals. I figure that while I’m still young, I should take advantage of getting away with obnoxious brights.

I found this adorable bebe skirt at the FIDM Scholarship Store. If you don’t know about this store, I don’t really want to tell you, and risk having you snatch up all the best clothes…ok, ok, I’ll tell you. The Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising Downtown on 9th and Grand has a Scholarship Store, which is where brands from BCBG to bebe to small unknown brands sell old clothes. These can be sample size items that were on store mannequins, out-of-season items or even items that need repair. The items are sold at a steep discount, and the money goes into the school’s scholarship program (so, shopping for a good cause).
I love shopping here because I can find awesome bebe cocktail dresses and designer accessories for less than $10 – I don’t know anywhere else with prices that low!

This bebe skirt is so fun – it’s silky, with a satin liner, and is flippy and fun. The colors are also awesome – you can choose to wear it with pink, yellow, purple, white, black, anything!
I have this pink basic t-shirt from H&M that is the same shade of pink in the skirt. So I opted for a pink theme! Because the colors are so bright, I wore basic white braided sandals from Forever 21 to tone it down a bit. This giraffe J.Crew necklace is small but elegant, and I think it made the perfect cherry on top for this outfit.
What do you think about bright colors? Do you usually wear all black, or branch out with bold colors? Let me know in the comments!
