I am really into pairing scarves with long-sleeved dresses. It’s not very cold here in LA, so I choose thinner summery scarves and wear them as accessories, rather than as tools to keep warm.

I bought this cream/off-white scarf at Forever 21 for just $5. What a steal! I usually purchase brightly colored, patterned scarves to accessorize solid-colored dresses. But I liked the cream color of this scarf, and I liked that it could go with practically anything.

The dress is also from Forever 21. I wrapped the scarf around me so that it hung down low. This scarf is particularly thick so it is also useful for keeping warm. Last but not least I added these suede brown stiletto ankle booties from Fashion Rush. I love that the outfit is all plain and solid-colored, but the textures make it fun – soft cotton dress, gauzy scarf, suede boots.Cute, practical and versatile!
