It’s summer, and all I want to do on the weekends is go to the beach and relax. However, simple beach days often escalate into more activities. But then you have to bring multiple outfits for multiple occasions and the planning ahead and packing gets exhausting.
The solution? Items that easily transition from the beach to the streets – or the bars. I love this long-sleeve flowy top from Daniel Rainn. The fabric is light and airy, but not sheer, so you don’t have to layer underneath. Even though it’s long sleeves, you don’t overheat. The v-neck shows off the figure that the otherwise flowy shape hides. And tassels?? Too fun.
You can easily throw this top over a bathing suit and be ready to go. Here, I tossed it over this white and gold bikini from Target Style. With the plain white, the top really takes the focus. The gold flip-flops are from Forever 21. I like them because they’re a little classier than standard rubber beach flip-flops, but you can still easily wipe the sand off them.
Sun going down and you’ve decided it’s time for a drink? Time to put on some pants – or rather, a skirt. I tucked in the blouse to this tight Windsor navy miniskirt. I love the proportions of the flowy top and the form-fitting skirt! I added nude canvas wedges from Target to the outfit. The nude lets you play up the rest of your outfit, and the canvas is so beachy/summery.
The finishing touch is this gold Alex & Ani charm bracelet. I feel like these bracelets are sooo SoCal. Not to mention they are also understated and fun – the perfect beachside accessory.
