Lately, I’ve really been digging the pseudo-ballerina trend. With baby pinks, heather grays, pastels and nude, the look is so easy to pull off and a timeless classic.
This Paper Crane dress is nothing like a leotard or tutu, but it’s still flowy and oh-so-feminine. And, if I could dance, I could totally imagine myself twirling around in it. But, I can’t dance to save my life, so I’ll just have to settle for styling dance-inspired outfits instead.
I love how pretty this dress is. I feel ready to take on the world!
Because the dress is so short, I opted for super-high platforms to balance out the length. These suede platform heels are from Payless Shoesource. In addition, the ankle straps help to make it seem like there’s more to my leg (aka, not a TOO-short dress).
I didn’t want to detract from the dress, so I slipped on my everyday Tiffany’s double-band ring and that’s it for jewelry!
How do you rock the “ballet-inspired” trend? Let me know in the comments!
