OOTD: In the Navy

One of my favorite things about the local Temecula wineries, aside from the delicious wine, of course, is that everybody gets dressed up to go. There is no dress code at the wineries, and unless you’re attending a wedding or special event, there’s no real reason you couldn’t wear t-shirts, shorts and sandals to sit outside and have a glass of wine.

But for some reason, everyone gets the memo and dresses snazzily, which makes a normal day at the wineries feel like a special occasion worth celebrating!

I love these shift dresses from Lulus. I’m pretty sure I own it in all 8 solid colors and 15 patterns it comes in. The fit is perfect and figure-flattering, while the material is high-quality. It’s just a simple navy dress, but the nice fabric makes it dressy and professional.

I had some fun accessorizing. These booties are the opposite of the peep-toe bootie trend – they are peep-HEEL! I also love that in some light they are dark grey, and olive green in other lighting.

I added fun blue jewelry, including this statement necklace from Rocksbox and this blue and silver cuff. I kept my purse neutral with a beige clutch from Lulus.
