OOTD: Knotted Crop

It may be fall, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to stop wearing crop tops. I’m just going to figure out ways to make them segue into colder weather!

Long-sleeved crop tops are one great way. This maroon long-sleeved crop top from Fashion Q, a boutique in Rancho Cucamonga, is ideal for fall. I love maroon and I think the color looks great on me. These bell sleeves are also super-trendy right now. And the knot in front is a fun, unique detail that really stands out.

I paired this crop top with a solid white pencil skirt from Forever 21. I love white, and I really don’t care about the “no white after Labor Day” rule. White can easily transition into fall and winter, especially accompanied by rich fall jewel tones!”

Although it’s no longer summer, I’m still rocking my Payless brown flatforms. The 70s trend was everywhere this summer. I love how the flatforms compliment the bell sleeves on the top – after all, they’re both super hippie-ish!”

I kept jewelry simple and warm. This gold leaf necklace from Forever 21 is so pretty, and I love the way gold goes with maroon / wine / merlot shades. I also added this gold ring from Forever 21 on my left hand, in addition to my normal Tiffany’s ring.
