I’ve been loving the midi dress and midi skirt trends lately. There is something about the silhouette that is so feminine and figure-flattering.

This red floral skirt is so fun for the flattering A-line shape, cinched-in waist and “wait for it” POCKETS!

It also works for the last days of summer with a black t-shirt and flatforms, and can easily transition into fall with black ankle boots and a black long-sleeved shirt. When spring comes back around, lighten it up by tucking in a white t-shirt instead.

This outfit was perfect for a day spent at the dog beach with Marshmallow and my mom, and enjoying the beach breezes at the tide pools in San Diego.
