I often think of florals as frumpy, something an elderly woman might wear or a pattern that a fast-fashion company might throw on a shirt to get something out the door. But after finding this floral blouse at H&M, I changed my tune.
On the hanger, the shirt looks like it might not be fashion-forward. But on, it’s on point. The delicate florals are not overwhelming. They’re also not”old lady-ish”. The cut of this blouse is entirely work-appropriate, with long sleeves and no cleavage, but the fitted shape shows that you have a figure under there. It’s perfect for a yuppie.
I paired it with this black skirt from Express. This black skirt is one of my favorite items I own because it looks great with everything and is so flattering.
My nubuck stiletto ankle booties are from Delicious Shoes. I’m obsessed with them. They are so trendy, perfect for fall/winter and surprisingly comfortable.
For jewelry, I opted to keep it simple with just a “Britt” sterling silver necklace from Monogram Online. My right-hand ring is my everyday Tiffany’s bling.
