You gotta love florals and stripes for just how well they go with everything. But sometimes the same old patterns get boring.

I love finding items with new, funky, bold patterns that I can have fun with. This blue and white tweed dress from H&M is one of those items. I am a sucker for long-sleeved dresses, and this dress has a super-flattering fit. The thick tweed-like fabric also makes the dress seem dressier, perfect for work or”meeting the parents”.

The bold pattern is great on its own. I also enjoy throwing this light denim jacket from Charlotte Russe over it. The jacket tones down the pattern a bit and looks more put-together.

I kept footwear simple with these black suede ankle boots from Payless Shoesource.

Finally, for jewelry. I loaded on the Tiffany’s with the “Return to Tiffany’s” silver heart necklace, T&Co silver double-band ring and “T” silver ring.
