Pink is so pretty. I often like to punk it up with some black, but other times I like to let it be as pretty and girly as can be. I went for the soft, feminine look with this baby pink ribbed crop top from Forever 21. The cut is so funky – the upside down triangle cut is different and unexpected – but the color is still decidedly dainty.
I paired the top with this brown pleather skirt, also from Forever 21. I love this skirt because it is so versatile. I can wear it high up on my waist with a crop top for a weekend look, or tuck in a long-sleeved shirt and pull on some tall boots for work. The skirt would be super casual in any other material, but the pleather makes it so much more dressed up.
These flatforms are from Payless. I’m loving how this 70s style is back “in” again! It’s great to be able to add some heel height without walking around in heels all day.
But of course, I couldn’t just leave it here, at a simple pretty outfit. I had to add some pizazz. That’s where this Ettika Role Play choker comes in. This choker is super fun. The brown suede is pretty and soft – unlike other chokers that can be uncomfortable – and I like the tassels that hang down. Not only is it great for summer, since chokers are trendy right now – but brown suede tassels segue so easily into fall.
I topped off the outfit with a gold ring from Forever 21 and a silver Tiffany’s T&Co. ring.
I love that pink crop top – it’s so cute!
