As our first rains of the season on Monday indicated, my wishful thinking that summer weather would last forever has not been effective. Luckily, the freak storm only lasted one day, and it’s nice and warm outside again. Time to break out those summer outfits for the last time!

I got this floral cotton stretch skirt at Charlotte Russe for my trip to Cabo. The print, cut and fabric all scream “tropical vacation“.”
That doesn’t mean you can’t wear it when you’re NOT on a tropical vacation, though! Why not bring the vacation vibes and good memories to the real world?

I aimed to do that with this gray short sleeve crop top from Forever 21. It tones down the bold print and makes it instantly wearable. White strappy sandals from Payless bring out the white in the skirt and are reminiscent of the beach.

Lastly, because this is a vacation look after all, I added this funky turquoise and silver necklace from Forever 21. Why not have some fun with fashion?

How do you make vacay-inspired looks transition into the real world? Let me know in the comments!
Cute and casual outfit. Have a lovely week. <3
