I love wearing flowy maxi dresses everywhere. But one place I feel that necessitates wearing a flowy maxi dress is the woods.

No, not hiking through the woods, or camping, or anything active. But when out in nature.

Why? Not sure. Maybe it’s that these dresses usually have floral patterns, reminiscent of nature. Maybe it’s the relaxed, easy, flowy fit and the soft cotton fabric.

Whenever I visit my parents at their new house in Lake Arrowhead, I find myself throwing on a maxi dress for the trip.

Plus, then I can take pics sitting pretty in the forest like this one.
