Sundays are meant to be Fundays – obviously, because it rhymes. It’s the end of the weekend, when you want to relax. And it’s a full day before you have to look nice and respectable at work.
Sundays are when I break out my crop tops. I have an extensive crop top collection, which is a problem when there are only 2 days out of the week when I can wear them. Thus, I try to design my weekend outfits around crop tops and high-waisted bottoms.
This fun pink and purple geometric patterned crop top is from Forever 21. I like how the sleeves are slightly off-the-shoulder, but not enough to be uncomfortable so as to have to adjust them all day long. I also enjoy the colors and patterns. It’s fun, but the dark colors make it a bit more subtle.
I paired this top with a navy high waisted skirt from Windsor. I got this skirt for $5 many years ago, and I think even if it had cost $10,000 I would still have gotten a great value out of it – that’s how often I wear it. It fits so nicely and goes with so many things.
Because the skirt is pretty short, wedges and heels (and boots) are out of the question. Instead, I opted for a laid-back vibe with gold Sperries.
I kept accessories minimal – this gold giraffe necklace is from Forever 21, and the gold cuff ring is from Gorjana – it came in one of my first Rocksbox sets and I fell in love.
This outfit makes me feel cute but comfortable on a Sunday – or any day! It’s cute enough for brunch, sexy enough for a date, casual enough for the beach and comfy enough for the weekend.
