OOTD: Swinging 70s

If you saw my blog post on 80s fashion, you know that every fashion style comes back around. Lately, bell sleeves, oversize ruffly blouses and funky shades of burnt orange have been hitting the scene, very reminiscent of the groovy 1970s.

Literally nothing could be more 70s than this high / mock-neck long-sleeved bell-sleeve sweaterdress from Forever 21. Literally nothing. It even has a circular cutout in the back just for shiggles.

The burnt orange color, the mock turtleneck cut, the short length, the bell sleeves, the ribbed fabric?it’s so psychedelic and far out! Ok, I’ll stop with the 1970s lingo now.

The dress gets a modern update with brown suede ankle booties from Payless Shoesource.

But I still wanted to keep the outfit funky, so I added this long gold and feather necklace from Charlotte Russe to top it all off.

Have you been rocking the 70s trend? Let me know in the comments!
