Never mind that traveling to a tropical destination right now is either not allowed, or frowned upon. You can channel the good vibes of the tropics right in your own backyard.

I rocked this green and white tropical print wrap dress from Maggy London at my best friend’s bachelorette party in Palos Verdes. The bachelorette was ideal for social distancing, including pool time, dinner outdoors at sunset, and silly card games.

It was also the perfect excuse for me to rock my new dress, as Terranea Resort is right on the ocean in Palos Verdes.

I paired the dress with white flatforms and a beige floppy hat, ideal for shading me on our suite’s private balcony, and keeping the sun off my face at the pool.
