OOTD: Urban Labor

Flannel and jeans work great in the field, on the farm or on the construction site if you’re a physical laborer. I’m a white-collar worker chained to my desk, but this uniform still works for a day at the office!

This flannel button-down is from Fashion Q, a cute boutique in Rancho Cucamonga. I love that the material is thinner than traditional flannel, so I don’t overheat. The ruffle in front that hides the buttons is also a great touch.

I paired the top with these ripped denim jeans from Charlotte Russe. Distressed denim is my favorite kind! And front-tucking the shirt adds a bit of casual class.

These brown suede western booties are from Payless.

I kept jewelry simple and nature-focused with this brown wooden watch from JORD. It’s so country, and such a unique timepiece.
