I spent this past weekend lounging at the beach (and getting an unexpected sunburn), so I think that means that spring is officially here! I’m so excited to break out the cute sundresses, flirty skirts and sandals of the season.

Best of all, white eyelet lace is still totally trendy this spring (like it was last spring/summer), so an entire wardrobe overhaul is not necessary! (Don’t you just love walking into a store and realizing you have similar items already in your closet at home?).

I purchased this white eyelet lace dress from H&M last May when my best friend from childhood graduated from UC Irvine. It was a summer evening graduation, so super tricky to dress for. I figured white lace would be cute, and could morph into nighttime with the right accessories and heels.

For Brooklynn’s graduation, I paired the dress with this delicate charm necklace from Forever 21 (which has sadly since been destroyed). These days, I wear my favorite gold giraffe necklace from J. Crew instead. These brown wedges from Target are cute, classic and super comfortable and really compliment the dress.

Graduations, spring weddings, daytime parties, dinners and happy hours by the beach, brunch, work…white lace is so versatile and I’m so happy that it’s trending in spring 2015!
