Who says you can’t wear white in winter? When done right, winter white can be a really sophisticated look.
I started with this white long-sleeve shirt from H&M, perfect for a “chilly” LA winter day. Next, I added this baby blue and white floral skirt, also from H&M. One might think that a miniskirt in winter might be a little inappropriate, but there are so many mild days here in LA that it totally works.
These delicate flowers are a great print for winter. In the spring and summer, big, bold floral prints like giant sunflowers and hibiscus flowers work great. In the fall and winter, it’s best to be a little more understated.
Next, I added these gray suede ankle bootie stilettos from Payless Shoesource. These shoes are so cute and the gray is perfect for the baby blue. Also, I love the combo of blue, white and gray.
For jewelry, I kept with the minimalist theme. This blue and silver Tiffany’s necklace brings out the blue in the skirt and the gray in the boots. I also wore my everyday Tiffany’s T&Co ring.
