A girl can never have too many LBDs (Little Black Dresses). They are perfect for almost any occasion, and can be dressed up or down.
I bought this black lace dress from H&M for a relatively conservative event in San Diego. I wanted to look polished, but also young. I love the length of this dress. The high-low cut is party in the front, business in the back, and a flowy dress is always in style. I love that the neck is high-cut so as to be conservative. There’s just a little sliver of skin shown on the waist in a strip of lace. I love how subtly sexy this lace is, so I can keep my personal style while also being covered-up.
I paired this dress with black suede wedges from Payless Shoesource. Ankle straps can often shorten the leg, but for this occasion I wanted it to look like I was showing less skin, so it worked out perfectly.
Lastly, I added this relatively simple black and gold necklace from Forever 21. I like how the long length of the necklace compliments the long length of the dress. It’s also fun and shiny, but simple. I think it ties the outfit together nicely.
