OOTN: Bottle Service

I very rarely go to clubs. I prefer to go to bars where I can hear my friends, where there are good IPAs on tap and where I don’t get mauled by creepy guys. But I have really enjoyed going to 1OAK in West Hollywood.

1OAK is a club, but it just feels different to me. For starters, it’s very open. The tables are in the middle of the action so you can walk from table to table and visit your friends. There’s also a separate dance floor, if that’s your thing, as well as an upstairs where you can watch the action from above.

The thing I do like about clubs is the fun you get to have with your outfit. There really is nothing too ridiculous when you’re at a club. Here in Santa Monica, people don’t bum it at bars but they certainly don’t get too dressed up either. It’s nice to be able to break out the club attire now and then.

This strappy black crop top is from Forever 21. I love how there is a band in front, making for a funky alternative cut. I also think it’s so fun how the top goes up in front and down on the sides. It’s definitely different.

I paired it with a basic black skirt from H&M. I love H&M’s Basics collection because you can get 2 pieces for $10. Not a bad deal at all.

These nubuck stiletto ankle booties are from Delicious. I love them so much. They are perfect for fall/winter in LA. You also can’t beat the texture of nubuck – it’s so luxurious.

For jewelry, I chose this sterling silver “Britt” necklace from Monogram Online. You can get any item with your name on it on this website – it’s too much fun! The silver ring on my left hand is from Wanderlust and Co., and my right hand ring is from Tiffany’s.
