With an hourglass body, it’s difficult to find the perfect one-pieces. I know, having a small waist is such a first-world “problem” to have. But jumpsuits and rompers are so cute, and they’re impossible to find!

When I saw this beautiful black jumpsuit at Charlotte Russe, I instantly fell in love. However, I reminded myself to adjust my expectations and curb my feelings. There was a 95% chance that this jumpsuit wouldn’t fit me, or that it wouldn’t be flattering. I almost didn’t try it on, because I’m so tired of trying to squish myself into one-pieces to no avail.

I did try it on, and I’m so glad that I did. I love everything about this jumpsuit. Not only does it fit me, but it’s flattering on my body type. The length is perfect, it’s tight in the right places and loose in the right places. It can be dressed up or down, made sexy or sophisticated. Basically, I’m head over heels in love.

I styled this jumper for a night out on the town. With the zipper halfway up, it shows enough cleavage to be sexy – which is good, since the rest of the jumpsuit is so covered up.

I paired the jumpsuit with these black strappy wedges from Payless. Open shoes are necessary for such a covered-up outfit, and these wedges are both comfy and sexy at the same time (aka the perfect shoes).

I wanted to keep the focus on the jumpsuit itself and the zipper, so I kept jewelry simple. My two left-hand gold rings are from Forever 21, and my silver right-hand ring is from Tiffany’s.
