Rompers are great for day. They make an easy cover-up at the beach, they’re easy to slide on to run errands, they can be made cute with wedges for brunch. But it’s rare that you see rompers at night.
This black strapless playsuit from H&M is perfectly suited for nighttime, though. I decided to try and figure out how I could put together a look that says “summer nights” and not “why are you wearing all black in the daytime?”
These black wedges from Payless help a lot. The straw sides make them a mix between wedges and espadrilles, so you could really get away with wearing them for either day or night.
To mix up the black-on-black of this outfit, I added this bright turquoise beaded choker from Ettika. The color is so gorgeous but it usually doesn’t match my clothes. Here, with all black, it serves as the perfect pop of color.
I kept the rest of my jewelry simple. My silver right-hand ring is from Tiffany’s, and the left-hand ring is from Wanderlust + Co.
