I love and admire US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg. Her feminist attitude and policy of equality has helped women nationwide in so many ways. I read the book The Notorious RBG to learn about her life, and when I saw this pop-art Notorious RBG shirt from Look Human, I just had to have it.
I’m not a t-shirt person, though. In fact, I can’t remember the last time I wore one out of the house – unless it was at a gym. I wanted to wear this shirt, but I had to find a way to make it my own.
Thus, I paired it with this bright yellow mustard boyfriend-fit blazer, which does not match the colors in the t-shirt but definitely compliments them.
A t-shirt and blazer can look too dressy-casual strange, so I then added these medium-wash high-waisted mom jeans and a brown belt. Because I subscribe to the motto of Death Before Flats, brown peep-toe booties were the final touch.
I wore this convoluted but fun outfit out to dinner with my friend and bridesmaid, who took me to a new restaurant in Old Town Temecula to celebrate my birthday! It was the perfect fun-casual look for a rainy weeknight dinner celebration.
