Old Town Temecula is the place to go if you want delicious, fresh and innovative food. That’s why we drive down for brunch, lunch or dinner even if it’s just the two of us and it’s just a quick bite in between errands. It’s always worth the excursion!
Blackbird Tavern is one of Old Town Temecula’s most fun bars at night, with a popping dance floor, good drinks and a relaxing outdoor patio, complete with fire pit.
But during the day it’s a great place to brunch.
On this occasion, I ordered the Pork Green Chile Huevos Rancheros (minus the slow roasted pork). It comes with crispy tortilla chips, eggs, black beans, cheddar, green onion and cilantro. It’s amazing but a five-alarm spice level for sure – White People Warning!
Sean enjoyed the Steak & Eggs – grilled hangar steak with 2 eggs, house potatoes and sourdough toast.
Of course, no brunch would be complete without mimosas, even if you’re not doing bottomless mimosas. Blackbird Tavern offers a much-appreciated twist on the traditional champagne + OJ mix with options for raspberry, lemon, peach or pear mimosas.
But the best part is that Blackbird Tavern’s patio is dog friendly, so Marshmallow can join us!
