The Temecula wineries all have delicious food (not to mention delicious red, white and sparkling wine), but many are only open on weekends. For delicious, high-end weeknight food in Temecula that is still worthy of the”Gram, I turn to Cork | Fire Kitchen at Temecula Creek Inn.
Temecula Creek Inn is a resort area in Temecula, a few miles away from wine country, that boasts an inn, golf course and restaurant. Plus, Cork | Fire Kitchen has an outdoor patio that is dog-friendly!
My mom and I took Marshmallow here on a weeknight to treat ourselves to a nice dinner out, and reward Marsh for being so good at his vet appointment earlier in the day!
We started with the cheese board, with a myriad of various soft cheeses (my favorite of which was the English Gray), served with house jams, nuts, local honey and fruits. I could have stopped here, but the entrees were just so enticing!
For my entree, I ordered the vegetable pappardelle, with fresh garden vegetables, cave-aged Parmesan cheese, garlic creme and fine herbs.
I added the spiced sangria to my meal, which features Ketel One orange vodka, local Temecula red wine, cinnamon-clove syrup and stone fruit.
I can’t wait to go back and order everything off the menu!
