Target is my favorite place to purchase bikinis! Too many times have I spent big $$$$ at Victoria’s Secret only for ill-fitting, poor-quality swimsuits that I was unhappy with. One day on a whim, I tried on a hot pink bikini at Target and it was everything I’d ever hoped for and more! The top gave the perfect underwire coverage and lift, the bottoms fit great with no baggyness (and no butt crack). Best of all was the price – $20 for the top and $15 for the bottom!
I was hooked.
Recently, I went on an online shopping spree on Target.com for bikinis! If you are looking for swimsuits, there is a huge sale going on on Target’s website, because swimsuits are now out-of-season. Already cheap bikinis are up to half off. Some of the bottoms I got were only $5!
I focused on items I could mix and match. I rarely wear swimsuit sets; rather, mixing and matching tops and bottoms makes me feel like I create entirely different suits, without having to go out and buy them.
I got a nautical top, with nautical bottoms and solid bottoms. I’ve always wanted a plain white top, and plain white and plain black bottoms, so I got those too. Below are the results of my clearance shopping spree! All pieces are from Target unless otherwise noted.

PHOTO DISCLOSURE: Besides the editing of my teeth and smoothing of my chin and under-eye lines, no alterations were made to these photos. Only the standard photo-editing tools (crop, red-eye, exposure, color) were used. No body alterations were made. I believe in full transparency of photos. Already we have to look at fashion magazines and feel bad about ourselves over models’ bodies that THE MODELS don’t even have in real life (hello, Photoshop). You shouldn’t also have to do that on a blog. My body is in no way perfect, but what you see is what you get! #BodyLove”.
